1. Connect your Stripe account
Authorize VerifyLive with Stripe's read and write access — no secret-key paste. That write access is what records the call on the charge. Revoke anytime from your Stripe Dashboard.
2. Webhook
One-click Connect does not add a webhook. If events are already arriving, you do not add an endpoint. If you add it yourself, subscribe to the four events below. The call is recorded after the payment succeeds and does not cancel it.
3. Call, then you decide
Every payment gets a keep / review / stop call. You make the call. Disputes get an evidence package you review and submit.

The call follows the Stripe payment, not a storefront brand.

How long does setup actually take?+

On the webhook you add, when charge.succeeded arrives, the call is recorded on that charge when the call succeeds. Same four events for every tier.
Do I need to change my checkout or Stripe configuration?+
Your checkout UI, theme, and Stripe account settings stay as they are. The call reads the payment details on the charge. You do not have to add metadata for the call to run.
What if I use Shopify Payments?+
Shopify Payments uses the App Store install. You do not need this Stripe connect for that. If a store charges through your own Stripe account, those payments get a keep / review / stop call. We do not sell a BigCommerce or WooCommerce app.
Do in-person Stripe Terminal payments get a call?+
Yes. A charge from a Stripe Terminal reader is called as in-person — chip, tap, swipe, and keyed entry — with the same keep / review / stop call as your online orders. You don't configure a second product. Online checkout and Terminal payments use the same Stripe connection.
What about Stripe Radar?+
Stripe Radar is Stripe's own risk tool. It sees Stripe's network and the transaction you send. VerifyLive gives you a keep / review / stop call on your own orders, plus an evidence package when a dispute lands. You can run Radar and VerifyLive on the same account. You make the call.
Does this work for subscription businesses?+
Yes. Each billing charge gets a keep / review / stop call, the same as a one-time payment. On the webhook you add, when that charge succeeds, the call is recorded on the charge. You make the call. Disputes are the same: we build the package, you submit it.
What about representment — does VerifyLive file disputes for me?+
When a dispute lands, RECOVR builds the evidence package from the order, the payment, and the signals on that payment. You review and submit it to Stripe. There is no recovery fee. VerifyLive does not file the dispute for you and does not offer a chargeback guarantee.
What happens if I leave VerifyLive?+
If you added the webhook yourself, it stays on your Stripe account and you can remove it. One-click Connect does not add an endpoint on your account. Disconnect VerifyLive and new calls stop. No vendor lock-in, no data held hostage.
